What is true love?

There is so much fuzz in this world about love. And everyone on earth is in search of true love. We are showered & protected by our mother's love and we think it is the best that we can get when we are still a child. Of course mothers love is special because, the mother thinks only in terms of her child's welfare and she does not think about her own self there. She loses her 'selfish' (ego)  interests and thinks only in terms of her child. Her consciousness has expanded from just her own self to her children.

And in later age we start searching for true love from our life-partners and then from our children and it goes on and on till the end of our life.

Sri Madabusi Subramaniam ji discloses the real concept of true love. That love we are all searching for all along our lives: "There is no You and I involved in love. Love is not something that happens between 2 people. There is just 'I' or 'self' in love. Nothing more!"

Do not mistake it for selfishness or self interest. It is the pure love which starts from the inner SELF and is not for just self. When you are in the state of BEING, when you are just in your 'self', when nothing affects you, all that rests is pure love. This love starts from YOU (the I) and radiates outside. Others can just feel it in your presence.

It is not the love that is there for some one in particular. It is not the love for any 'body', or 'mind' or 'person'. It is the love for the entire universe - unmistakable and unconditional love - which expects nothing and showers everything.

Liking someone and getting attracted because of some reason is definitely incomparable to this pure love. Pure love involves just the SELF. The pure love starts from the SELF due to the realization of SELF. It is born when the ego is sacrificed and the inner self is realized.

So, there is no point in searching for your true love somewhere else. It is right there - within you!
